Chhattisgarh Dy CM Sao entered politics through ABVP

Raipur, Dec 13 (UNI)- Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao commenced his political career with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).

Born on November 25, 1968, he completed his graduation from Mungeli and then earned a law degree. His sire Abhayrao was a senior Jana Sangh worker.

Sao was ABVP President for half a decade from 1990. In 1996, he was Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha head. Sao was first elected to Parliament from Bilaspur in 2019 and made BJP state chief in 2022.
