Lucknow, Mar 11 (UNI) – Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) president Brij Lal Khabri on Saturday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments at the center and state of pushing the common man deep into inflation and unemployment and said that the party will gherao the Raj Bhawan on March 13 to expose corruption and anti-people face of BJP. Talking to reporters at the UPCC headquarters, Khabri said that statistics are showing that the graph of injustice and atrocities has gone up in UP. “The government is completely asleep, is looting the public’s money for its industrialist friends, the vice-chancellors sitting in the universities under the protection of the government are involved in corruption,” he said.
He said that Congress workers and leaders will gherao the Raj Bhawan on March 13 to expose the corrupt and anti-people face of the BJP government. Khabri said that Congress will perform non-violent demonstrations in a democratic manner by staying within the purview of the law.
He said that even the barricading done by the police will not be able to stop Congress workers and leaders.
