Coronavirus India Update : 22771 New Coronavirus Cases in 24 Hours, Total Cases Exceeds 6.48 Lakh
New Delhi : Coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in the country, there is a new record of fresh Coronavirus cases in the country within the last 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry, 22771 new coronavirus cases have come in the country during the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Friday to 8 am Saturday and now the total coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 648315. However, out of the total 648315 coronavirus cases in the country, there are only 235433 active cases.

However, within the last 24 hours, there are 14335 people in the country who have completely recovered from the coronavirus and now the number of people who have been cured after defeating the coronavirus in the country has increased to 394226 and the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has also reached close to 61 percent.

But the number of people who lost their lives due to Coronavirus is also increasing continuously. During the last 24 hours, 442 people have died due to Coronavirus in the country and a total of 18655 people have lost their lives due to this virus. The highest number of deaths in the country due to coronavirus has been in Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat. In Maharashtra, the virus has caused 8376 deaths, while in Delhi it has claimed 2923 lives and 1904 in Gujarat.
There is continuous testing in the country for identification of coronavirus patients. On Friday, more than 2.42 lakh tests were conducted across the country. The total coronavirus testing in the country has increased to over 95.40 lakhs. After the United States, Russia and Britain, the highest number of coronavirus tests are being conducted in India.
