Even after two doses of vaccines, BJP MLA Bhimrao Tapkir tests positive

Elected from the Khadkwasala constituency, BJP MLA Bhimrao Tapkir recently tested positive for Covid-19. He was administered both doses of the vaccine.
He was supposed to be present for the Maharashtra assembly’s monsoon session however now he won’t be able to make it as he has been quarantined.
On Sunday, Maharashtra reported 9,336 fresh Covid-19 positive cases with 123 fatalities. The total infection tally in the state is now 60,98,177 and the death toll due to Covid-19 has reached 1,23,030.
A total of 3,378 patients were discharged during the day. Till not the state has 58,48,693 recovered patients. As of Sunday, there were 1,23,225 active cases.
