Speaking in the house on the last day of Budget Session, Mr Fadnavis said the agitation on the steps of Vidhan Bhavan is wrong. “I do not support it. For last few days, the CM has been criticized in offensive terms on the steps of Vidhan Bhawan,” said Mr. Fadnavis.

“Is it acceptable to the House to call him Khoke, Chor, Mindhe,” questioned Mr. Fadnavis, demanding action against those who speak in this manner for the Chief Minister.

Congress leader Bunty Patil demanded that the leaders of the upper house be involved in this. Fadnavis also gave him a rude reply.

Mr. Fadnavis warned if this continues, action will have to be taken against those who speak against the Chief Minister.
