Youth dies during Ganpati immersion in well in Pune dist

Pune: Policenama online  – Ganeshotsav 2022 | A 22-year-old man died in a well during the Ganesh immersion at Boriaindi in Daund taluka of the district on Friday evening. The village is in grief as the Ganesh festival had such a tragic end. (Ganeshotsav 2022)

According to the details, Sanket Mhetre’s body could not be fished out from the well even after three hours. Yavat police station’s Senior PI Narayan Pawar and PSI Padmaraj Gample rushed to the spot after learning about the incident.

Village sarpanch Rajendra Khaderao Taware had appealed to people to observe precaution while immersing idols at water bodies.
