GH Raisoni’s Institution Innovation Council receives 4-star rating by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India
Pune : Policenama online – The Institution Innovation Council of GH Raisoni College of Engineering (IIC-GHRCE) Pune achieved 4 star rating given by Institution’s Innovation Council, ministry of education’s Innovation Cell (Government of India) and All India Council forTechnical Education (AICTE) for its excellent performance in Innovation Activities in 2020-21. The result was declared recently & GHRCE Pune is among the top 20 Institutes/Universities of eastern India. Sunil Raisoni Chairman, Raisoni Group ofInstitute (RGI), Shreyas Raisoni and Dr. R. D. Kharadkar, Director & Dr. Pratibha Reddy, and Prof. Sarika Khope, Assistant Professor are the coordinators of Innovation cell congratulated the students and staff for achievements.
The annual performance rating of all institutes and universities declared by the Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative) every year based on performance of IICs of them. “All stakeholders of the institute are overwhelmed with the success of the IIC of GHRCE. This achievement has been the outcome of yearlong hard work by the Cell along with all our Students and Faculty Members and our Alumni across the Globe who had been the pillar behind this success,” said Prof. Dr. RD Kharadkar, Director of GHRCE Pune.
Dr. RD Kharadkar further said, “GHRCE is organizing awareness sessions regularly on Intellectual Property rights,Innovation, startup and entrepreneurship by organizing experts’ sessions. More Than 150 online sessions on IPR, Innovations, Startup and entrepreneurship had been conducted throughout the last 3 year of Span. It is also an active member of SPPU CIIL (Center of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages) through which students participate every Year in different competitions organized by SPPU.”
IIC has Established Institutions Innovation Council by MIC, Govt of India in the year 2018. GHRIET received 4.5/ 5 ratings in the 2019-20 academic year. In non-stop Marathon our faculties filed 101 copyrights within 4 Hrs. Institute received Band performer in ARIIA- Atal ranking of Institutions on Innovation achievements for the academic year 2020-2021. Under the flagship of IPR, GHRIET has filed 189 copyright and 24 patents. College has received grants of a total Six patents and 189 copyrights, he added.
