Jagruti Group organises grain and clothes collection drive


Pune : Policenama online Pune News | ‘Jagruti Group Pune’ collects old and new clothes, grains and donates them to orphanages and old age homes. This activity has been going on for the last 12 years. On Sunday (February 5), a collection drive of clothes, grains and books was held from 7 am to 5 pm at the entrance of Fergusson College. (Pune News)


“Jagruti Group Pune” of college youths in Pune has been collecting old and new clothes, toys, utensils, books, warm clothes, other useful items and essential items every year at Fergusson College since 2009. Every year, many old and new items are collected and given to the needy. This activity has been going on continuously for the last 12 years.


The clothes collected this year will be distributed to the poor and needy people, sugarcane cutting workers and books to rural students through various social organisations.
