Ahmednagar : Policenama online Karuna Dhananjay Munde announced the name of her party on Thursday. It is called Shiv-Shakti Sena. She said her party will contest all polls in the State. She would file her nominations from Parali Vaijnath in case she decides to enter the fray.
Karuna Munde/Sharma also resolved to work for ending corruption in Maharashtra. She appealed to people to join her party to free the State from graft and work for society.
“So many scams involving thousands of crores of rupees take place in Maharashtra. Exams have been cancelled due to scams. Unless you pay money, you will not be admitted to a party or given party tickets or ministerial berths. A minister indulges in scams worth at least Rs 1,500 crores. I want to finish this corruption. My party will work for this,” said Karuna Munde.
She said, “Ministers indulge in corruption while government officers, police officers are made scapegoats. I have seen this in the past 25 years. I want to put a full stop to all this.”
The party’s symbol, flag, emblem and code regarding contesting polls will be announced in a workers meeting in Ahmednagar on January 30. “My fight is against corruption. I tried to meet Anna Hazare. However, I could not meet him, which I regret,” said Munde.
Karuna Munde is out on bail in a case, in which she is accused of life-threatening assault on two women and using casteist language against them.
Minister Dhananjay Munde had earlier admitted that he had a consensual relationsp with Karuna. He revealed this after Karuna alleged that he raped her.
