Latur : Policenama online | Latur News | An auto-rickshaw driver died after a huge tree collapsed on the parked vehicle near Ushakiran Talkies in Latur. The name of the deceased is Maroti Sidram Kale (Age 48, Resident Chandeshwar).

For the past several days, Latur has been constantly receiving drizzling rain.

According to the information received, a huge tree fell on a rickshaw (MH 24 AB 3168) parked in the premises near Ushakiran Talkies. The trunk and branches fell on the auto roof, crushing it. The impact was so bad that the auto-rickshaw driver died on the spot.

The investigation on how the tree fell is going on. Another person was sitting in this rickshaw at the time of the incident. He has suffered minor injuries. The police reached the spot immediately after receiving the information about this matter.
