The cops told Raut that they can’t go to the village because no one is allowed to go there. The police then asked him to walk to a nearby guest house. However, party workers accompanying him said waiting at a guest-house would not yield to anything and urged the cops to let them go to the place where their supporters were waiting.
Following the incident, Raut sat on a dharna against this ‘dictatorship’ and others accompanying him raised slogans.
