Mumbai,Dec 11 (UNI)- The Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Room has brought the light of perfect health to the lives of thousands of patients in the state with excellent performance in patient care.
Keeping up its consistent performance graph, the ward has provided assistance to over 19,000 patients, totaling Rs. 156.60 crore, during the last 17-month period.
According to official sources, a press statement issued Sunday night stated that the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Unit, under the guidance of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, had the original concept of this scheme, and head of the unit Mangesh Chivte and his entire team have devoted themselves to patient care.
That is why over 19,000 patients were given a treatment cost of Rs 156.60 crore from the Chief Minister’s Medical Aid Cell Fund since the Shinde-Fadnavis state government came into power in July 2022.
As per the suggestion of the sensitive Chief Minister, Shinde, the Chief Minister Medical Aid Cell Chief, Chivte, has informed us that various diseases have also been included in the Chief Minister Medical Aid Fund, including angioplasty, bypass surgery, cancer surgery, chemotherapy, dialysis, cochlear implant surgery, which is essential for congenitally deaf and dumb children, all types of organ transplantation surgery, road accidents, electrical accidents, burned patients, cardiac surgery for congenital children, etc.
Chivte has appealed that the maximum number of needy patients should benefit from the Chief Minister’s Medical Aid Fund.
