Pune: Brutal Rape of Minor Girl Leads to Her Shocking Pregnancy; Recidivist Accused Booked by Hadapsar Police
Pune: By taking the wrong advantage of his acquaintance, a serial criminal of the area raped a 17-year-old minor girl in Hadapsar. This heinous incident has come to light after a minor girl was found pregnant. As per the information, this incident took place between January 2023 and March 2024 at Shinde Vasti in the Hadapsar area.
The victim, a minor girl, filed a complaint in this regard at Hadapsar police station on Wednesday, March 20. Accordingly, police lodged a case against the accused, Tushar Kailas Kakade, under Indian Penal Code 376, 376/2/N/I, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. A 20-year-old kakade, a resident of MHADA colony, Hadapsar, is a recidivist criminal and currently serves his jail sentence in Amravati Jail.
The police sub-inspector, Kaviraj Patil, informed that the victim girl and the accused live in the same locality and have been acquainted with each other. By taking advantage of living in the same neighbourhood, the accused initially contacted the minor girl and trapped her in his love by enticing her with his fake relationship promises.
After that, the accused forcibly established physical relations with the victim girl repeatedly between January 2023 and March 2024, which led a minor girl to become pregnant. This was revealed on Wednesday after the girl was found pregnant in the medical report. After that, the victim girl filed a complaint against the accused at Hadapsar Police Station.
Accused Tushar Kakade is a recidivist criminal who, along with his few accomplices, has committed serious crimes like attempted murder and possession of illegal weapons like machetes, knives, etc. in the area. Taking serious note of his growing criminal activities, the then Commissioner of Police, Ritesh Kumar, took action against him under the MPDA Act and lodged him in Amravati Central Jail for one year. Since then, he has been serving his jail sentence in Amravati jail.
Police sub-inspector Kaviraj Patil is conducting further investigation in this case.
