Pune: Policenama online – Pune Crime News | A drunk youth pushed aside a police constable who had gone to intervene in a dispute in a bar which had been kept open till morning. The Vishrambaug police have arrested Ratan Abhangrao Suryavanshi, a resident of behind Shankar Maharaj Math, Ishanya building. According to the police, the complainant and his colleague were patrolling on their motorcycle. They heard loud noises coming out of Nidhi Bar located on Mehunpura Road in Raviwar Peth and they went there. They saw that three people were arguing. The complainant told them not to shout. The accused replied that they would not go anywhere. The accused abused the complainant and charged at him. The accused pulled the collar of the complainant and pushed him aside. An FIR of obstructing government work has been registered and PSI Kumbhare is probing the case.
