Pune: Pune Crime News | Fight erupted among two groups on Saturday at around 11:30 pm at Janata Colony in Pune over teasing of a young girl. The police have registered a case of attempt to murder against both the groups.
A 16-year-old boy has filed a complaint in this regard at Parvati police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against eight persons named Abhijit Patil, Sanket Londhe, Bittaya Kamble, Ananta Khole alias Bhulappa, Ajjya alias Ajit a resident of Janata Colony, Pramod Kalambe a resident of Parvati Darshan, Shubham Gajadhane and Abdul. The incident took place near the Ramakrishna Math gate on Dandekar Bridge.
Jagdale, police sub-inspector, Parvati police station said, ” The complainant and his friends Subhash Chalwadi, Suhas Sherkhane and Ketan Gaikwad were taking a stroll. At that time the accused came there and they grabbed the collar of the complainant’s shirt and hit him below the ear and asked him why did he and Aditya tease his sister. They beat him with the intention of killing him and stabbing him in the neck with a deadly weapon. Later the accused came to the colony and entered the house of complainant friend Vaibhav More and abused him and also threatened to kill him if they reported the incident to the police.”
The cross case has been lodged by 35-year-old from Janata Colony at Parvati police station against Navya Wadkar, Vaibhav More, Yash Waghmare, Samya Karande all residents of Janata Colony and their two accomplices along with a minor.
Jagdale added, ” The complainant’s sister had gone to shop at around 10 pm on July 19 to recharge the TV. When she went for recharge at that time Navya Wadkar hit her on the head from a deadly weapon but she dodged it then another accused Vaibhav More also tried to molest her and other minors too abused the complainant sister saying that the dog’s sister had come. Due to a molestation attempt on his sister the brother attacked another group with the help of a friend. We are further investigating the case.”
