PUNE : Pune Crime News | An incident has taken place wherein a PSI’s collar was caught by a person and was assaulted after threatening him that he would come to Katraj police chowki and ensure that the PSI is suspended.

The Bharati Vidyapeeth police have arrested Pritam Chunnilal Pardeshi, a resident of Katrajgaon and his mother. The incident took place at Katraj police chowki on Monday at 12.15 am.

PSI Nitin Tanaji Jadhav (32) has lodged a complaint (365/23) at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.

 

According to the police, the accused came to the chowki after an argument with Akshay Pandurang Malve (23), a resident of Katraj and started shouting loudly. Havaldar Jadhav told him not to shout. The accused, Pritam Pardeshi, became angry and told the complainant, “You don’t know who I am and I will ensure that you are suspended. Many FIRs are registered against me. You are new in the chowki and find out information about me,” and pushed him away.

 

The accused’s mother caught his collar and abused him and told him, “I have seen many people like you. What will you do? My son is in the press and I will tell him and make you jobless.” Pritam injured the complainant on his hand by using his broken mobile. The police have arrested both of them and PSI Thorat is investigating the case.
