Maharashtra Monsoon Update | Rainfall to intensify after June 17 in Mumbai and Pune

Mumbai : Maharashtra Monsoon Update | The southwest monsoon is likely to arrive in Mumbai and Pune after cyclonic storm Biparjoy peters out. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the monsoon would advance after June 17.

 

It started raining in some parts of Konkan on Monday. High tide was witnessed in the coastal areas of Gujarat, Mumbai and Kerala. Heavy rains are lashing areas in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 

According to the IMD, the North Indian states will have to wait for the monsoon. They will have to face warm and humid weather conditions.
