Pune : Pune Crime News | A chilling incident unfolded on Monday night during the last day of the Akhad Party in Pune, as a heated argument at a country liquor shop near Lokesh Hotel on Satara Road turned into a gruesome attempted murder. Sameer Hussain Kazi, aged 32 and a resident of Shivdarshan Parvati, was left seriously injured, while Nisar Sheikh, 56, from Aranyeshwar, Sahakarnagar, has been taken into custody by the Sahakar Nagar Police Station. As per the details provided by the police, Sameer and Nisar, who were acquaintances, were at the liquor shop to enjoy their evening. Suddenly, without any apparent reason, Nisar began verbally abusing Sameer, who tried to reason with him. However, Nisar was beyond reasoning and his anger escalated. In a fit of rage, Sameer punched him in the mouth.

What followed was shocking and violent. Nisar, consumed by anger, pulled out a knife and brutally stabbed Sameer in the stomach. The scene left bystanders horrified and quickly called for help. The police were summoned, and they immediately rushed Sameer to the hospital for medical treatment.

The authorities wasted no time in apprehending Nisar Sheikh, and a case of attempted murder has been registered against him. PSI Jagtap is currently leading the investigation into the disturbing incident.
