Rickshaw driver, two others rob youth in Mangalwar Peth

Anup Shivhari Shigokar (18), a resident of Om Super Market, Model Colony has filed a complaint at the Faraskhana police station. According to the police, Anup was going to Sangamwadi to collect a parcel sent by his father. He had taken his room partner Ravindra Malkhede and was travelling in an autorickshaw on March 6 at 5.45 am. Two others were also sitting in the rickshaw.
Instead of taking him to Sangamwadi, they took him to the railway bridge in Mangalwar Peth. By threatening them with a knife, the accused snatched mobiles of both of them, Rs 1,000 and forcefully transferred Rs 2,000 to their account.
They were threatened with stones and told to go away and they decamped with the autorickshaw after stealing goods worth
Rs 26,700. API Shete is investigating the case.
