Pune: Teenager Stabbed During Cricket Match Argument in Khadki; Case Registered

Pune: A 15-year-old boy was stabbed with a sharp weapon during a heated argument while playing cricket in the Khadki area. The incident, which occurred in the Khadki Bazar area on Sunday afternoon, has sparked outrage and concern among residents. Police have swiftly registered a case against the accused perpetrator following a complaint lodged by the victim’s father, Shah Alam Juman Shah (42), at the Khadki police station.

According to reports, the victim, a resident of Dargah Colony, had ventured to the Khadki Bazar ground to play a game of cricket with friends. However, a trivial dispute escalated into a violent altercation between the victim and the accused boy. In a shocking turn of events, the accused brandished a sharp weapon and stabbed the victim in the head before fleeing the scene.

The victim’s family immediately sought recourse through legal channels, prompting the swift intervention of law enforcement authorities. Assistant Police Inspector Patil is investigating the matter further.
