Pune | Houses, water tank damaged, citizens hurt in explosion done for digging well, one held
Pune: An explosion carried out for breaking rock to dig well on the riverbank caused damage to houses and an overhead plastic water tank. One person has been arrested.
Pravin Bhagwat Naiknavare (35) of Kharadi lodged a
complaint with the Chandan Nagar police in this regard.
The police arrested Anjal Ralu Dasari (26) of Kharadi.
The incident took place at 6 pm on Monday on the riverbank.
According to the police, Dasari has started well-digging work
near the complainant’s house.
He conducted an explosion to break the rock.
The splintered rock pieces hit Naiknavare’s house roof
and plastic water tank and damaged them.
It also damaged tin roofs of other houses around.
Some residents received bruises too.
The police have registered an offence against Dasari.
