Pune: In the election season, allegations and counter-allegations are running thick and fast. The two factions of the NCP are no exception to this. NCP (SP) City President Prashant Jagtap came down heavily on NCP (AP) President Ajit Pawar, calling him a traitor, in a post on social media.
Prashant Jagtap’s post with two photos, one with Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule and another with Ajit Pawar and Narendra Modi, states: ‘She has been tying the Rakhi around her brother’s wrist for 50 years and showed her affection. She took assurance from him that he would always be around to take care of her and stand by her side in thick and thin. She trusted that he would never betray her. But… one day, the enemy threw its evil gaze on the family… her brother walked over to the enemy camp, for his selfish ends, he joined hands with the enemy, who is so wicked and egoistic… the enemy knows that they cannot win on their own, but they want to defeat their father. Her brother has crossed over to the rival camp… but why? It is unfathomable… What was his intention? What was not given to him? He was loved, cared, and his mistakes were forgiven… What else did he want? And… what did he achieve by joining the enemy?’
Prashant Jagtap has called Ajit Pawar a traitor in his post. The post further states: ‘She saw that the ‘super power’, along with her brother, was charging at her father to attack him. She did not display her sorrow over her brother’s treachery but stood firmly in the battlefield with the sword of ideology in her hand and shielded her father… she is still fighting, battling and striving to retain the pride…! Tell me, did she go wrong?”
