Pune: Young Man Abducted and Robbed Over Unpaid Loan Dispute in Hadapsar

Pune: In the dispute over an unpaid loan, a young man from Hadapsar was forcibly abducted and taken to Solapur. It has come to light that the concerned man was forcibly robbed and left there. In this regard, Pravin Vinod Kale registered a police complaint against two people at Hadapsar police station. The incident took place between 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday (13th) and 1.30 p.m. on Thursday.

A 36-year-old Kale is a resident of Borkar Chawl, Siddhivinayak Colony, Satavwadi, Hadapsar, and has taken a loan from Swapnil Shetkar, a resident of Adreno Tower, Amanora Park Town, Hadapsar. Over the anger of halting a few loan instalments due to financial problems, Shetkar, on Wednesday, forcibly abducted the plaintiff from his polo car and took him to Solapur.

After reaching there, the accused and one of his accomplices, Nitin Sankad, assaulted the plaintiff and took 2,500 rupees from the plaintiff’s pocket. The plaintiff lodged a police complaint at Hadapsar Police Station in this case. Accordingly, police registered cases under IPC 392, 363, 504, 506, and 34 against Swapnil Shetkar and his accomplice, Nitin Sankad.

Hadapsar police are conducting further investigations.
