Pune: Hadapsar Police Initiates Legal Action Against Accused for Molesting 20-Year-Old Woman

Pune: In Pune’s Hadapsar area, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly molested by a young man by throwing water on her body and allegedly stripping her clothes. In this regard, a complaint has been registered against the accused at Hadapsar police station.

The accused has been identified as Sameer Ahmed Abdul Qadeer Shaikh. As per the information, the plaintiff woman was walking on the road with her nine-month-old baby. At that time, the accused, Sameer Shaikh, who lived near her house, threw water on the plaintiff from his building.

Astonishingly, when the plaintiff woman confronted him about it, he brazenly abused the plaintiff. Furthermore, he also tried to outrage her modesty by attempting to strip her clothes. This incident took place on Thursday, April 4, at around 10.30 a.m.

After that, the victim woman filed a complaint against the accused at Hadapsar police station. Accordingly, Hadapsar police booked the accused under IPC 354(b) and 504 and took him into custody. The police are conducting further investigations into the case.
