Rajasthan : Income Tax Raids on Around 24 Locations of CM Ashok Gehlot’s Close Aids

Jaipur : In the midst of a political crisis in Rajasthan, the income tax department has started tightening its grip on the close of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. More than 200 officers and employees of the Income Tax Department have raided many places in Delhi and Rajasthan. The raids have been carried out at the locations of Dharmendra Rathore and Rajiv Arora, close aides of Ashok Gehlot.

The team of the Income Tax Department reached the places of Rajiv Arora, the owner of the jewellery firm and close to CM Ashok Gehlot. Raids are going on in their homes and offices. The special thing is that the information of this raid was not given to the local police. The team of the Income Tax Department is carrying out raids with Central Reserve Police.

Apart from Rajiv Arora, the Income Tax Department is raiding the residence and office of Dharmendra Rathore. Dharmendra Rathore is also said to be close to CM Ashok Gehlot. Sources say that Rajiv Arora and Dharmendra Rathore are being questioned about the transactions done outside the country.

Congress raised questions on the raid
The Congress has raised questions on the raids on around 24 locations of Rajiv Arora and Dharmendra Arora. The Congress accused the BJP of destabilizing the Gehlot government. At the same time, the Congress also asked questions on the raid of the Income Tax Department without informing the local police.
