MUMBAI: Retired ACP Shamsher Khan Pathan Dies | Retired ACP Shamsher Khan Pathan has passed away. He breathed his last at Maseena Hospital. He was ailing for a long time. After retirement, he had formed his own political party. Pathan was serving in the Mumbai police department from 1990 to 2007. He was admired for being an efficient and popular police officer.
Shamsher Khan Pathan was sick for many days and he passed away at Maseena Hospital. After retirement, he had formed a political party i.e. Awami Vikas Party.

Retired ACP Shamsher Khan Pathan had arrested terrorist Ajmal Kasab during the 26/11 attack and he had accused senior police officials of taking away Kasab’s mobile. He had also demanded a probe into this matter. This incident received a lot of publicity.
