PUNE: Pune Crime News | An incident has come to light wherein a suspended policeman assaulted his neighbour, a senior citizen, on MG Road in Pune Camp. An FIR has been registered against the concerned suspended policeman and a woman at the Lashkar police station.
An FIR has been registered against Arfaz Arif Shaikh (27) and a woman. Arfaz Arif Shaikh has been suspended from the police department. Amir Hanif Patel (65) has lodged a complaint. On May 17, 2023, Patel was sitting in the courtyard in front of his house from 6.30 pm to 7 pm.
The woman who stays behind Patel’s house questioned him why he had taken her photographs and who had given him the right to do so. Meanwhile, the suspended policeman Arfaz Arif Shaikh told Patel that he was a policeman and would not spare him and assaulted the complainant and his son with a bamboo stick. PSI Bansude is probing the case.
