Rs 21K looted in armed robbery at a petrol pump in Khed Shivapur

Pune : Policenama online Pune Crime | Two armed persons robbed cash from attendants at a petrol pump near Khed Shivapur on Pune-Satara road and fled on Friday night at around 11.30 pm. (Pune Crime)

 

The incident took place at Sriram petrol pump near village Velu in Khed Shivapur area. Two thieves came on a two-wheeler. They threatened the pump attendants with a sickle and looted cash of Rs 21,000. They fled towards Pune. Petrol pump owner Tushar Jagtap lodged a complaint at the Rajgad police station at midnight.

 

As soon as they got to know about this incident, PSI Sachin Patil of Rajgad Police Station rushed to the spot. Police teams launched a search for the thieves.
