Pimpri : Policenama online – Ten incidents of theft were reported from different areas of Pimpri Chinchwad. The accused have stolen cash, ornaments and goods worth Rs 7,61,400. Increasing cases of house break-ins, robberies and thefts of ornaments are being reported. (Pimpri Chinchwad)
Two cases are registered at Alandi and MIDC Bhosari police stations. Unidentified persons snatched an ornament worth Rs 73,500 from a woman. In another incident, unidentified persons snatched an ornament worth Rs 50,000 from a woman.
Three cases of vehicle thefts are registered at MIDC Bhosari, Sangvi and Chakan. Three two-wheelers were stolen from these areas worth Rs 80,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively from these police stations.
Unidentified persons took away a cycle worth Rs 10,000 from the jurisdiction of Hinjawadi police station.
An unidentified person snatched a gold chain worth Rs 40,000 of a woman who was travelling in a PMPML bus from Nigdi to Chinchwad. Unidentified persons took away a laptop, a mobile, ear points and a calculator worth Rs 66,500 from the room of a boys hostel in Dehu Road.
Unidentified persons stole ornaments, cash, cheque book, passbook and documents worth Rs 52,500 from a car parked near Moraya Gosavi temple in Chinchwad.
Unidentified persons took away electric wire and cable worth Rs 3,23,900 from the godown at a construction site in Hinjawadi.
