Katraj: The body of a 35-year-old man was found near the Katraj tunnel in the premises of Bharati University police station on Saturday, police said. The police recovered an Aadhar Card with the name Ajit Singh from the deceased’s pants pockets.
Ajit Singh is originally from Siddharthnagar in Uttar Pradesh. He lived in Khed Shivapur in Pune. According to the police, Ajit’s family lives in Uttar Pradesh and he visited Pune for work. The police are searching for the accused.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 302 and 201 against the unidentified person at the Bharati University police station. Under the guidance of Senior Inspector of Police Jagannath Kalaskar, Assistant Inspector of Police Gangadhar Ghavate is investigating the case further.
