API Dead In Accident | Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Assistant Police Inspector and Driver as Tree Falls on Car

Jalgaon : API Dead In Accident | A devastating incident occurred when a tree unexpectedly fell on the vehicle carrying the team from the Economic Offenses Branch, resulting in the untimely demise of the assistant police inspector and the driver. Additionally, three other occupants in the car sustained severe injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Erandol Rural Hospital.

 

The unfortunate event transpired around 9 o’clock on Thursday night near Anjani Dam on the Erandol-Kasoda route.

 

The deceased have been identified as Sudarshan Dater, Assistant Police Inspector of the Jalgaon Economic Offenses Branch, and Driver Ajay Chaudhary. Chandrakant Shinde, Nilesh Suryavanshi, and Bharat Jethwe are among the seriously injured victims.

 

According to the received information, the Economic Offenses Branch police team was en route to investigate a case in Pilkhod when the tragic incident occurred near Anjani Dam. A tree situated along the roadside unexpectedly toppled onto their car. The driver and Assistant Inspector Sudarshan Dater, who were seated in the front, tragically lost their lives on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, Assistant Police Inspector Yogita Narkhede from Kasoda Police Station promptly arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of locals, extricated the injured police personnel. They have since been admitted to Erandol Rural Hospital for medical treatment.
