Webinar on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking Held
Pune : Policenama online – Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development, Pune in collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) conducted a webinar on February 12, 2022, on the topic ‘Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking’ under the guidance of Dr Sachin Vernekar, Dean of Management faculty and Director, IMED.
Niket Karajagi, Founder Atyaasa Online, Satish Patil, , President Atyaasa Online, Ms Pooja Tahalyani, Founder & Head of Operations, Mabio World were present as guest.More than 100 participants attended this webinar.The event was well-organised and coordinated by the ED Cell coodinators Dr. Bharati Jadhav,Dr.Shradha Vernekar and Deepak Navalgund.
The event was hosted on Microsoft Teams. The objective of this webinar was to interact with BBA, BCA, MCA and MBA first-year students and introduce them to the field of Design Thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event was hosted by Ms Sonal Surve-student of MBA.
The session by Mr Niket Karajagi and Mr Satish Patil was indeed very informative on the subject, what design thinking is and how one can develop the aptitude for the same by applying simple approaches to finding solutions to a daily occurring problem. The speakers also emphasized how today’s VUCA world is intensifying and how design thinking can be of use on products, services, and ideas across industries.
MS. Pooja, on the other hand, talked about taking calculated risks, maintaining a network, and also quoted how important data analytics is in today’s world and her words of wisdom inspired our students a lot.
