Cyber criminals dupe a woman of Rs 71,000 promising audition to work in Hindi serials

In this regard, a 20-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Yerwada Police Station. The police have registered a case against Tarun Chandrasekhar Sharma from Chandigarh, Asha Singh, Krishan Chand from Punjab.
According to the police, the complainant lives in a hostel. She saw an advertisement about working in Hindi serials and movies on Facebook. Aspirants were asked to contact for an audition. Accordingly, when contacted, she was asked to deposit Rs 71,849 citing different reasons. However, no audition was held. When she contacted the persons, vague answers were given. The woman realised that she was cheated. Many people are suspected to have been duped.
