Jazeera Airways celebrates five years of operations in India

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 24 (UNI) – Kuwait’s leading low cost airline, Jazeera Airways, on Tuesday celebrated the success of its Thiruvananthapuram route and five years of operations in India, with a luncheon for local trade partners and media in the city.

 

The airline launched flights to Thiruvananthapuram in October last year, and operates two weekly flights from Kuwait. Through this route, Jazeera Airways offers the large expat community in the city, a cost-effective, direct corridor to Kuwait and other countries in the GCC.

 

Romana Parvi, Regional Manager, South Asia for Jazeera Airways, highlighted “At Jazeera Airways, we are keen to serve destinations that provide better connectivity for passengers at reasonable fares. We are extremely pleased to be flying to the capital and the largest city in Kerala, to cater to the high demand from both expats and business travellersin Kuwait and the extended region.”

 

Kicking off operations in India with Hyderabad in October 2017, Jazeera Airways also marked five years of operations in India. Including Thiruvananthapuram, the airline now flies to eight major cities in the country. These include Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kochi.

 

Jazeera Airways operates commercial and cargo flights out of its Jazeera Terminal T5 at Kuwait International Airport. The airline flies to over 55 popular destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa and Europe comprising high-demand business, leisure, religious and weekend destinations.
