‘Karnataka Govt has adamant…’, Amol Kolhe reacts after meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah

Delhi : MP Amol Kolhe | Nationalist Congress Party’s Lok Sabha MP Amol Kolhe met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, along with other MPs of the Maha Vikas Aghadi, in connection with the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute that has been going on for the past several days. After this meeting, Amol Kolhe was talking to a Marathi news channel. Kolhe said that after sensitively listening to all the MPs of Maha Vikas Aghadi, Amit Shah has assured that they will find a solution.

 

NCP MP Amol Kolhe said, “The Karnataka government is adamant. While the hearing on this matter is pending in the Supreme Court, the Chief Minister of Karnataka is constantly commenting on the issue. Vehicles from Maharashtra are being attacked and Maharashtra ministers are being prevented from coming to Karnataka. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar has given the constitution to the country. That’s why there is freedom of movement in the country.”

 

Kolhe gave the details about the meeting with Amit Shah. “It is learnt that the Union Home Minister will hold talks with CM Shinde and Bommai on December 14. There will be a way out through coordination. Marathi speakers in Belgaum, Nipani, Bidar, Bhalki are being subjected to constant oppression.” Kolhe said.
