Kishan Reddy thanks Rajnath Singh for giving approval to open 5 arterial roads in SCB
Hyderabad, April 22 (UNI) Union Minister of Tourism G Kishan Reddy thanked Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for agreeing to open up 5 arterial roads in Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB).
The five arterial roads to ease commute in twin cities are — Richardson Road, Protnee Road, Byam Road, Ammuguda Road & Albain Road.
In a tweet, Kishan Reddy thanked the Minister and said that he had met him several times on the issue and apprised him about the ground situation.
He added that such decisions need to be made by sitting across the table, and threats of stopping water and power supply are counterproductive as they vitiate the atmosphere.
The Tourism Minister said that the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is always committed to making life easier for the common person, and there is a sensitive balance between security needs and ease of living.
