Sangli, May 6 (UNI) – Accident News | Five persons of a family were killed on the spot while ten-year-old boy was seriously injured in a car accident last night at Amrutwadi phata, on Vijaour-Guhagar state highway. (Accident News)
Police said, the family was returning to Jat from Gangapur after taking darshan of God Shree Datta by a car, collided on a stationary dumper at roadside, killing five on the spot, while ten year old boy was seriously injured, treating at civil hospital here.
The deceased were identified as Datta Hariba Chavan, driver(40), Namdev Punappa Savant(65), Padmini Namdev Savant(60), Shlok Akashdeep Savant(8), Mayuri Akashdeep Savant(38).
A case was registered and further investigation was on, police added.
