Mumbai : Policenama online – The youth who had sent a threatening message to State Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray has been arrested. He has been identified as Jaisingh Rajput and is a diehard fan of Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The 34-year-old has been held by the Cyber Police, Bangalore. He was reportedly shocked and depressed due to Sushant Singh’s death. Hence, he sent the message to Thackeray.
Jaisingh Rajput allegedly sent the message on WhatsApp threatening to kill Aditya at 12 midnight on December 8. He made certain allegations against Aditya in the Sushant case. Apparently, he also called Aditya Thackeray thrice and then sent the threatening message.
A complaint was lodged on behalf of Aditya Thackeray. The Mumbai Police Cyber Cell is investigating the case. The news of Jaisingh’s arrest was published by a national daily.
The Mumbai Cyber Cell traced his number to Bangalore. They have arrested him in Bangalore. An offence has been registered against Jaisingh Rajput under various sections.
