No-vehicle zone in Koregaon Park for counting of votes for bypolls

Pune : Policenama online Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election Results | The counting of votes for the Kasba Peth bypoll is going to be held at Food Corporation of India godown at Koregaon Park on Thursday (March 2). The traffic branch of Pune police has declared the entire area near the FCI godown as a no-vehicle zone from Wednesday (March 1) till the end of counting on Thursday (March 2) considering the fact that there will be a huge crowd of activists and people near the godown. The traffic in the area has been diverted. The traffic branch has issued an order to this effect. The diversion will be as follows (Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election Results)

 

1) Vehicles coming from St Meera’s College and Atur Park Society and travelling towards south will be permitted to travel till lane number 1. Barricades will be put up and the vehicles should take a left turn to go to their destination

 

2) Vehicles coming from South Main Road lane number 5, 6 and 7 will be allowed to travel till lane number 4. They can turn right and proceed towards their destination

 

3) Barricades will be put up opposite Koregaon Park police station and St Meera’s College and South Main Road lane number 5.

 

4) Barricades will be put up outside the property of Jain in lane number 2, South Main Road.

 

5) Barricades will be put up near bungalow number 2. In lane number 3 at 67 and 68 South Main Road, vehicles will be stopped from proceeding towards South Main Road

 

6) On March 1 from 11 am till the counting process is over, a no-vehicle zone has been created from Darode path till lane number 5

 

7) Parking arrangement has been made for officials and workers related to the election process on the premises of Sant Gadge Maharaj School

 

8) The candidates, their representatives and citizens can park their vehicles on the premises of Sant Gadge Maharaj School
