Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime News | A group of four persons went to meet a man who had come out of jail to perform his father’s last rites. The goons from the rival gang got angry and attacked those four persons with sickles and axes. They vandalised cars and terrorised people in the area of Meenatai Thackeray colony. Prakash Tulshiram Pawar (19) of the Meenatai Thackeray Colony has been seriously injured. He is being treated at the Sassoon Hospital. Surya alias Suraj Taj Mohammad Siddiqui, Rakesh alias Lallu Ratan Sarode, Aditya Kundlik Sakhre have been attacked and injured.

The Swargate police arrested Balaji Umap, Rahit Jadhav, Yash Mane, Ramesh alias Raja Madam. Balaji Umap and Ramesh Madam are criminals on police record.

Akash Tulshiram Pawar (28) from Hadapsar lodged a complaint at the Swargate Police Station. The police registered a case of attempt to murder against Sachin Parashuram Mane, Balaji Umap, Ajay Dikale, Vijay Dikale, Palya Pasange, Ayush Mane, Nikhil Mane, Rohit Jadhav, Yash Mane, Ramesh alias Raja Madam and their other accomplices. The incident took place at the Meenatai Thackeray Vasahat, Khadda, in front of Laxmibai Mandir and at Gitanjali Apartment near Crescent High School at 10 pm on Sunday.

According to the police, Sohail Badshah Sheikh, who lives in the Meenatai Thackeray Colony, is in jail in a murder case. On February 25, he had come out to perform his father’s last rites. The complainant’s brother Prakash and his accomplice had gone to meet him. There is enmity between the families of Sohail and Balaji Umap. Prakash Pawar was standing in front of Gitanjali Apartment with his friends on Sunday night. Sachin Mane and his companions came there. They vandalised cars and terrorised people. Suraj and Rakesh Sarode were attacked and injured. At 10.15 pm, Ajay Dikale pointed his finger at Prakash and asked to kill him. Nikhil Mane attacked Prakash on the head with an axe while others attacked with sickles. When Aditya came to save Prakash, he too was injured. The gang terrorised the area by waving sickles, axes in the air. The Swargate police registered a case of attempt to murder.

The complainant’s brother Prakash is also a criminal on record. The accused who attacked him are also criminals on record. Sachin Mane is the prime accused. The Market Yard Police had taken action against him.
