Poster of ‘Daryasarang’ movie based on life of Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre released
Pune : Policenama online – Daryasarang Marathi Movie | The unveiling of the poster of ‘Daryasarang’ movie being produced by Dr Anirban Sarkar and presented by Deccan AV Media, took place recently. The poster was unveiled by producer of the film Dr Anirban Sarkar. (Daryasarang Marathi Movie)
Dr Anirban Sarkar said, “It is necessary that the story and valour of many unknown mavlas (foot soldiers) who fought with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be presented before the youths. After the strength and valour of Kondaji Farzand came to light through the Farzand movie, many did research on him. Now, we have made an attempt to show the courage and valour of Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre, who was chief of the Maratha armoury.”
“It is necessary that the right history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is brought to light before the youths. We will announce the names of the writer, director and main actors in the next couple of days. After this film, we are aiming to highlight the valour of unknown mavlas (foot soldiers) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through films. I hope that the audience will give a good response to Daryasarang as Farzand,” Sarkar said.
The programme started with the lighting of a lamp. The programme was compered by Bageshree Parnerkar. Sachi Gadhve of Deccan AV Media presented a vote of thanks. Deccan AV Media’s Director Ajay Kamble, Animesh Sarkar, technicians and other staff were present.
