Pune : Policenama online – Pune Corona | The number of Covid-19 cases is under control in Pune. Though reported cases were just above 100 in the past two days, a slight uptick of 120 cases (Pune Corona) was reported on Wednesday. So, the overall caseload increased on Thursday. With increased cases, the rate of recovery has decreased. As a result, the number of active patients in the city has gone up.
Meanwhile, in the last two days, no deaths have been reported in the city. As of 4 pm on Thursday, 122 new positive cases have been reported.
According to data provided by the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Health Department, 6,027 Covid tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of these, 122 tested positive. Meanwhile, 38 patients recovered and were discharged from various hospitals. Till date, 37,74,327 tests have been conducted, of which 5,08,041 have been found to be positive. Among them, 4,98,069 have defeated the deadly virus.
The number of active patients in the city has increased as the number of positive cases are on the rise for the past two days. Currently, there are 863 active patients in Pune city. Of these, 85 patients are critical and around 60 patients are on oxygen supply. No deaths have been reported in the city in the past 24 hours. Till date, 9,109 patients have died in the city.
