Pune crime | Civic worker tries to undress 15-year-old girl in Gultekdi area
Pune : Policenama online – Pune crime | A conservancy worker who was working on a drainage pipeline molested a 15-year-old girl by entering her house. The Swargate police have arrested Ganesh Subhas Hegde, a resident of Vadgaon Budruk. The incident took place around 12.30 pm on Friday at Gultekdi.
According to the police, the complainant girl was fetching water at a public water tap near her house. On the pretext of helping the girl carry the pot for fetching water, he entered her house realising the girl was alone at home. Then he touched her body. Later, he entered the house again telling the girl that she had forgotten the water pot outside. He gagged her and tried to undress her. PSI Sable is investigating the case.
