Pune Crime News: Couple cheated of Rs 4.5 lakh on the pretext of investing in tamasha business in Kondhwa, case registered against two
Pune: Policenama online -Pune Crime News | A couple were cheated of Rs 4.5 lakh by two people on the pretext of investment in the tamasha business. The two accused lured the couple saying that they will get good profits. The couple were cheated by two without giving any profits to them. The incident took place in Kondhwa between 2014 and October 2023. (Pune Crime News)
Raheel Tambe and Aman Tambe, a resident of Kubera Garden at NIBM Road in Kondhwa have been booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 406,420, 506 and 34. In this matter, Sudhir Sham Rawat (62) a resident of NIBM Road in Kondhwa has filed a case at Kondhwa police station.
According to the police, ” The accused and the complainant live in the same locality. The accused got to know the complainant and his wife and gained their trust. Accused Raheel Tambe and Aman Tambe lured the Rawat couple by starting a Tamasha business and returning them good returns. Trusting the accused, the complainant invested Rs 4.5 lakh in thr business. The accused took the money but never returned the profits and also the money back. After realising that they have been cheated both the victim rushed to the court. On the order of the court a case has been registered against two accused under CrPC Act 156(3).”
The further investigation in the case is being carried out by assistant police inspector Thorat.
