Pune Crime News | Criminal who threatened to kill brother of NCP City Unit Chief Prashant Jagtap, arrested
PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Wanawadi police have arrested a criminal who was roaming in the city despite being externed and who had threatened to kill the brother of NCP City Unit President Prashant Jagtap.
The arrested accused has been identified as Shreedhar alias Sonya Vitthal Shelar (35), a resident of Wanawadi. Shreedhar Shelar is a criminal on the records of Pune police. He has been externed from Pune city and the district. Despite being externed, he was moving around in Wanawadi. He had threatened to kill the brother of NCP’s City Unit Chief Prashant Jagtap.
When Shelar was drunk, the police laid a trap and arrested him. When he was searched, sharp weapons were found and the police seized them. He had been externed on July 9, 2021.
