Pune : Pune Crime News | Many vehicle owners change the registration numbers of their vehicles to dodge action. One such car owner was caught having changed the registration number of his car when he was involved in an accident, in which a youth was killed.

 

The Loni Kalbhor police arrested Adil Siraj Mulani (23), a resident of Purandar taluka. Shridhar Dharma Kadam (33), a resident of Loni Gaon, was killed in the accident. The incident took place on Vadaki road at Divang Phata at around 4 pm on June 4.

 

Policeman Amol Mundhe lodged a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station in this regard.

 

According to the police, Adil Mulani was driving the car by changing its registration number. Shridhar Kadam got down from an auto-rickshaw at Divang Phata on Vadaki road in Fursungi. Mulani was driving the car speedily on the road. His car knocked down Kadam, who was seriously injured and died.

 

It was revealed during the investigation that Mulani had changed the car number. PSI Tarte is investigating the matter.
