PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Kondhwa police paraded a notorious goon who had absconded after assaulting a youth in Upper Indira Nagar-Kondhwa area. Mane had formed a gang ‘SM Gang’ and was spreading terror. The police had taken action against him under the MCOCA.
The accused has been identified as Mangesh alias Mangya Anil Mane (26), a resident of Upper Indira Nagar. On March 27, Mane and his accomplices assaulted Rohit Khandale with a sickle in Sai Nagar area of Kondhwa. An FIR has been registered against Mangesh Mane, Sagar Jadhav, Pavan Rathod, Suraj Patil and Abhijeet Dudhnikar. Mane was absconding after committing the crime.
The police had arrested Mane’s accomplices. Mane was hiding from the police for three months.
Policemen Suraj Shukla and Sujit Madne got the information that Mane was waiting near the water tank in Kondhwa. The police laid a trap and arrested Mane. Later, the police paraded Mane in Kondhwa-Upper Indira Nagar.
Senior PI Santosh Sonwane, PI Sanjay Mogle, Sandip Bhosle, PSI Swapnil Patil, Satish Chavan, Nilesh Desai, Gorakhnath Chinke, Jyotiba Pawar took the action.
