Pune : Policenama online – The number of Covid-19 patients has been going up and down in the past few weeks in the city. During the 24 hours till Monday afternoon, 80 new cases were reported while 71 patients were discharged from various hospitals in Pune.
This was revealed by the PMC health department. Over 4,500 suspect patients underwent the test on Monday. Of these, 80 tested positive. In all, 38,40,708 lab tests were conducted till date, of which 5,09,105 patients tested positive. In all, 4,99,001 patients fought against the disease successfully.
Though the positivity rate is rising, the fatality rate is decreasing in the city. No death was reported in the city on Monday. In all, 9,114 deaths have been reported till date in Pune. Of the 990 active patients, 76 are critical while 60 are on oxygen support.
