Pune : Policenama online – Two persons tried to kill a woman after entering her house. The duo was upset that the woman was frequently lodging complaints against them with the police. The incident took place around 9.30 pm on Wednesday at Thergaon.
An offence of culpable homicide attempt has been registered against Musdiq Rafiq Shaikh (27) of Thergaon and a 25-year-old unidentified person. The 38-year-old woman lodged a complaint at the Wakad police station on Thursday.
According to the police, the complainant and her sister visited the Ranubai Barane School for the admission purpose. Shaikh saw them on their way back home. He told her that she was filing frequent complaints with the police. He threatened that he would kill her and challenged her to file another complaint.
On the same day, both the accused entered her house carrying knife-like weapons. An accused alleged that his brother was not getting married because of her. He grabbed her neck while another accused outraged her modesty.
Shaikh then attacked the complainant with the weapon. She took the hit on her arm. At that moment, her brother and son-in-law arrived and thrashed the accused.
