Pune News | 56,000 disputes likely to be settled in Pune district; Lok Adalat to be held on August 1

PunePolicenama online  Pune News |  People will get the opportunity to settle the disputes quickly through Lok Adalat. Lok Adalat is going to be organised on August 1 for speedy hearing of pending cases. Due to the Corona pandemic, many cases are pending in the court.

Lok Adalat will be organized on August 1 to negotiate and resolve the claims eligible for settlement. 56,000 cases of the district will be placed before the Lok Adalat.

This is the first Lok Adalat of this year. The panel has been prepared as per the guidance of SA Deshmukh for the post of Chief Justice to adjudicate the claims. This includes judges, lawyers, and representatives of NGOs. This information was given by Pratap Sawant, Secretary, District Law Authority on Tuesday. Claims which can be settled through compromise will be brought before the Lok Adalat. Also the cases like land acquisition, cheque bounce, family, vehicle accident adjudication, civil and negotiable criminal cases will be placed before a panel prepar to oversee the functioning of the Lok Adalat.

Private company’s help

It helps in giving speedy justice to the clients as well as saves the cost and time wastage on the cases. Direct and online work will also be done to avoid the rush in the court.

For whom it is not possible to come to court, such clients will be involv in it online. To help these clients, the state authority has taken the help of the Sama company.
